It took a couple of days for the media to really pick up on the Azania story. At first people didn't really seem to care - writing it off as 10 year old angry and rash comments. But... it picked up steam and made national news just like a lot of other candidates comments.

He is totally getting burned now for not reneging on his comments... he's only apologising if he insulted anyone. I dunno... the cbc reported:"

The Jewish organization B'nai Brith would not go so far as to call the comments anti-Semitic. However, it did say the remarks were unfortunate and inconsistent with a multicultural Canada.

I think it'll "even the playing field"... people will rationally question (hopefully) all the candidates qualities.... not just view Azania as gods gift to disgruntled voters.

If you have time to burn... check out Cross Country Check-up where Rex Murphy lets people grill Edm-Strathcona's 3 major candidates.(Complete with cameo appearances by the Green Party and Canadian Action Party !!!)
