taken from Paras' link to the Peterborough story on CBC:

"Hundreds of basements have been flooded. Residents were told not pump the water out of their basements because they would be removing clean water with raw sewage"

now does this make sense to anyone, or am I the only one who's confused? how can you have clean water with raw sewage? or remove water using raw sewage? I just don't get it!

I love these messages. As if signing up for MSN premium will free us from the unjust tyranny of pop-up ads thrust upon us by... MSN. And here I was thinking that extortion was illegal. Foolish, foolish Paras.

So, I've already sent an email out to most of you about this, but in case I miss anyone, Scott and I are planning to hold a birthday celebration on the night of Saturday July 17. We're starting at scholars pub at 8pm, then moving to suite 69 for 10pm. I can gurantee good times (like anytime when I'm drunk), so if you're interested, but have any questions, please feel free to call my cell at 5047701 anytime.

Also, Leo, I know you want to have a BBQ that night, but I doubt you want a tonne of Frat boys and TRU boys at your place, but I'll try to come a little early to your thing, then maybe anyone who wants can join up at the bars a little later?
