Shit, Al, the bar's been raised:

(eric, you only mention four names, but there are five very obviously musically talented individuals. What gives?)

oh no, don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to defend his actions in any way. frankly i think picking fights is rather infantile and only masculine in that it is brutish and lunkheaded. my best friend in elementary school- some of you may remember him from the news awhile back, Adnan was killed in a drive by though he was not even the intended target (his older brother who was the one caught up in bad gang shit) so i don't want to be alarmist, but your scenario is not entirely far fetched. your brother's actions are not only disrespectful of your father, they're disrespectful to himself - what he does is undeciplined and childish. ironic since martial arts (and i don't know shit about martial arts) emphasized discipline.
what i wanted to point out was just that it sounds like that's how your brother gets his kicks- that's "his own"
my advice, since you rightly pointed out that his actions affect your entire family, is that your family should confront him about his behaviour.

I suppose eric, but a certain level of conduct has to be maintained in order to be civil. What if one of those people he picked on was a gang member and they attacked our house? Me, my sister and mom and dad are suddenly dead. Was it worth it to pick on someone over nothing and get this massive retaliation? This scenario will probally never happen but my dad didn't raise us to be thugs that walk around and bully people. He is basically not respecting how my dad raised us, he is not respecting my dad. He isn't your brother so you'll probally let his action slide but he is my brother so I have to be accountable for his behaviour. If not for himself then at least for the respect of this family. Once again sorry to rant.

What do you do when you realize that your brother is the biggest jerk in the whole entire world? Par you probally have a good answer for this. It was last night when I was overhearing my brother talk that I realized this. Apparently he has ditched all his old friends because he think they are "weak" or "pussies" or they do a "inferior" martial art. He thinks his way is the "manly" way of lifting weights and fighting. Well to tell you the truth he is the typical "flavour of the month" martial artist. Basically he does whatever is the fad right now and dumps everything that he has learned befroe thinking that it is inferior Right now he is doing Brazillian Jiu-jiutsu before that mixed martial arts, before that... and so on and so on. Where did he get such a fuck'n huge ego? He isn't really the strongest or biggest or the most skilled. Apparently he is a real dick in the gym, he makes fun of people for nothing and apparently he got into "fights" with several people. I don't know what his problem is. Sorry for ranting.
