No Par, I don't actually use firewire, though I have thought of getting a Firewire/Usb PCI card for my compy.
Beck, will you be around CAB at all tomorrow? If so would you mind bringing my Gameboy? If not I'll give you a ring and swing by sometime.

AW HELLS YA! I finally got my mark back in one of my classes. That A will nicely counterbalance the D.

Man, I should start taking pictures at like every show I go to. Edmonton could have it's own polaroidscene... well, maybe not quite as good, but still. These photos aren't mine (they're Jon Dunbar's... he came back from Korea for Christmas break) but I think you can see that Edmonton's got some potential to compete with L.A.:
Look at how hot Johnny from the Franklins is here. Can you say velvet blazer and flipped collars with just as much flair as Omar Rodriguez Lopez could ever muster his'self? Fuckin rights boy.
And check out Kenny from the Franklins. Only gods and monsters can play bass like that. Kenny happens to be of the latter grouping.
Now here's Graeme from the Wednesday Night Heroes. You only WISH you owned a shirt that rad. And the fly-open thing is a nice touch too.
Lyle from Whitey Houston here models a 100% authentic lynx-fur hat. Or at least, so says Karlin from LDF. Hey, don't doubt! If you grew up on a reserve in St. Paul you'd know this shit too.
Here's my favouritest BINGO girl, Kim shaking her maraccas in Whitey Houston. Girls- take notice of the dress alterations for a higher hem. Stylish as fuck. That same night she also demonstrated to me the transparent properties of the dress beneath a blacklight. Goodness gracious.
Here, here, and here are pictures of Dan from Our Mercury. The girls can't get enough.
LA can only dream of models this thin!
This is Lance from the band 7and7is. Pink paisley, reversable shirts, communist hats...? What the fuck else IS there to fashion? Here he is again at the CJSR studios. I sometimes give him rides home from BINGO, and he once wanted me to drum in a band for him but I told him I couldn't. So that means I'm cool. YESSSSS!!!
Fuckin' Bryan. Look at all his pins and that beautiful scarf! He plays in a super rad band called the Mark Birtles Project and he apparently has the same damned shirt as me. That means he shops at Zara. I'm soooo onto his secrets.
This here's Kairn Singh from the hip-hop freestyle phenom from Eshod Ibn Wyza. This dude will school you so bad in an MC Battle that you'll try to climb into your mother's uterus and unborn yourself. I shit you not. On a related note, is it true that women shit babies?
I'll just quote Dunbar himself on this one: "Scott ... ogles the ugly lumps on my sister's dress." If you're into that sorta thing, there's more where that came from.
Here's scott again, but take no notice of him. I want you to see how that dude from Joey and Instapunks combines a classy suit with rainbow-striped socks. Nice, nice. Some of you may recognize him from Mod club.
Yeah, okay. So maybe I'm just pretending to be as cool as Mark from Cobrasnake. Whatevs. Let me be.
Oh yeah, I should mention that I ripped all of this off of Jon Dunbar's site here.

Par, something's gotta be up, because on my computer running XP, I uploaded 13gigs onto my iPod in about half an hour.

Perhaps I should have been clearer. Downloading everything (which, at this point is about 5 gigs) takes about 2 hours in Windows and 20 minutes in linux.
