Tuition is due today for anyone who, like me, left it until the last minute.

Oh, follow-up Penny Arcade question. What happened to the ice cream cones?

Beck, this PA news update's for you (or Andy... whoever has the bongos, really):

Also, I was discussing it with Geekfesters, but this could apply to just about anyone. I'm thinking of compiling a mass purchase from ThinkGeek. Really, I just want this shirt, and maybe a Div shotglass. There are other goodies here, too. (The 1up shirt is interesting, and I can't think of a more perfect shirt for Pam than this one.) If you find something you like, lemme know. It's not just computer geeks, there's science stuff (and just plain weird stuff) there. We'll probably put this together in the next couple of weeks.

yes, but it's at the Garneau/Princess (forgot which one) starting Tuesday, and I like supporting local independent theatres.

Actually, Shake Hands with the Devil is on tonight at 9:00 on the main network of the CBC, and again Wednesday at 8:00 and 11:00 on Newsworld.

Taylor, I agree, that kid did nothing wrong, and actually, I think it's a fairly happy photo.
Percy, sorry for the undue attack. I mean, I would've responded the same way as I did to whomever it was, but I didn't need to pull you into it. In the end, I've decided to work on a subject I've previously worked on a bit... for familiarity's sake. So... Woodland Caribou here I come!
*ahem* exciting news in the world of Canadian Documentaries: Shake Hands With the Devil won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award (only awarded to documentaries twice, and both times it's been for Canadian ones). Even with the knowledge that the film is going to be horridly fearsome, I think I want to see it... but not until after Thursday. Anyone else interested?

Because:
sleep = dreaming
dreaming = fantasy
fantasy = sex
sex = good
good = crusty bedsheets
crusty bedsheets = funny
funny = I like funny
I like funny = you should do it
I have mathematically determined that one should sleep simply because sleeping is funny and I like funny stuff.

Why, sleep, why? Lets see, how about water conservation and river treaties? I think I read something about that. Something about old treaties and how they may be anachronistic when dealing with the problems of the 21st century. I believe it was about the Columbia river in particular, maybe you can find other rivers that fall under the same situation.
