If you're bored go here to kill some time. It is like a curio shop of mixed things to keep you amused.

I love downhill battle, I almost ordered a T shirt from them, but then I found it in west ed.

But on another note, an awesome story:

You picked the wrong man
"A young punk who tried to mug an 88-year-old picked the wrong man -- his intended victim turned out to be a former boxing champion who knocked the attacker out cold.

"I was visiting a friend's grave when a young, long-haired man came up to me and demanded I hand over my money," said granddad Gerhard Brinkmann of Halberstadt, Germany, who was the country's top lightweight boxer in 1936.

"I told him to come closer if he wanted it and, as he did, I landed a full-force right hook on his chin.
"

Perry Bible has to be my most favorite strip out there:

DownhillBattle are also responsible for sending lumps of coal to the RIAA and MPAA for christmas, and did the Eyes on the Screen project to get the public to see, though in violation of copyright law, the civil rights doc Eyes on the Prize.

Also, if you have some time, here's a lecture by Michael Geist, a prominent Canadian copyright attorney. What interesting about this is his stance (which is very similar to Cory Doctorow, and he has some great insights, but it's also the debut of UToronto's Open Source/Open Access program, which broadcasts lectures on the internet.

(And, on the same lines, how to beat Napster)

Not all eukaryotic ribosomes are bound to the ER. There are cytoplasmic ones as well. The ER ribosomes are mainly for synthesis of proteins that are to be released/exported out of the cell.
