Hey Albert... you probably won't be able to make games with that Flash Editing program (F4L). I don't think it can fully utilize actionscripting. It looks like it is only designed for making animations. That being said... I haven't actually tried to use the program. I have a copy of Flash MX like Andy... and if you really want to get into Flash... it might be worth aquiring a copy.
In any event... I've wanted to make a flash game for a long time. And not just a little single person game, but something that is multiplayer. www.globulos.com is a good fun one (You have to pay to play the full versions.. but the guest games are fun enough). I don't know if you guys have played many multiplayer flash games... for the most part they are always turn-based and never real-time. (An example of a non-turn-based-multi-user flash drawing board - Open a couple windows and give it a try! Simple Draw)
The downside is that flash is slow... both in its own speed, and slow at talking to servers - They made concessions when they designed Flash so that it could be used on a range of platforms with different speeds/connection speeds. Developers always go with other programming languages and platforms if they want something real-time... but flash is just handy since it can be run through the web-browser and it's graphic features are easy to use.
Anyways, I've been trying to dream up something that would be fun to make and play and set up for multiple users. Things like board-games. Im not sure if any of you play Settlers of Catan... but there is an online version made with java: Java Settlers. It's developed by some University to research AI. Something like that would be fun to develop in Flash... or there are tonnes of other ideas... Something like an online version of StarControl (but turn-based somehow...), ect ect...
Anyways, It's just a musing I've had, but if any of you guys would be interested in trying to make something... I know I would be up for trying.

I'm surprised they only called it the 'Class Action Fairness' Act, or CAF Act. Usually they strive to make the acronym something related to the act itself (like the PATRIOT Act, and the INDUCE Act.) If they found themselves short on ideas, I have one: The 'Freedom from Undisputable Collective Knowledge You have for Organizations acting Unduely, Bitches Itches Tches Ches Hes Es S' Act.
Hmm... that wasn't so hard. I should become a lawmaker.

Oh yeah - here's a Reuters Article discussing class-action lawsuits.
Y'know that whole idea of being a douchebag, peddling snake oil to the general public, and making money off of people's naivety and kindness...? It's quickly becoming more and more appealing - by fucking leaps and bounds really. I'm moving southwards when I lose my conscience; I'll quickly become an unstoppable, immoral juggernaut.
When it's discovered that my Nerve Tonic -- "Uncle Andy's Home-Brewed Cure-All & Jimmy Thickener" -- actually causes cancer, and the impending class action suit looms on my horizon, I can easily put an end to said legal proceedings with these magic words: "I do what I want. (Bitches.)" - It's going to be sweet.

Albert: Edders pretty much covered everything - far better than I could have. I just used Flash MX myself, and it seemed all good.
Par: Ah, throwing up on your birthday? That's a small step (comparatively negligible, really) towards the degree of scumbaggery that imbues and informs my everyday life. Bravo Paras, bravo. - Sorry for throwing piles of straw on to your aching camel back. Hope you had a pretty good one, nonetheless.
