Her address book released on the internet notwithstanding, I still don't think she's as dumb as she acts. Either she's quite literally a puppet (i.e. she's even dumber than we think), or she's actually smart. Let's face it, The Simple Life isn't still on unless she does stupid things. No reality show with a smart girl not fucking up some ridiculously easy job will last very long. I just don't believe anyone can be that dumb and survive this long, even with our idiot-proofed world.
Al, relax. People are just trying to suggest how to change the situation. I don't think they are trying to be malicious, and there's no need to return that perceived malice.

I'm going to bring up the issue of racial slurs again... I find it disconcerting to read words like "niggas" coming from much of anyone... as I would to read just about any other slur out there... like douchebag (which I still stand by, and am happily making the rest of you uncomfortable enough to stop saying it around me... huzzah!) it's one thing to claim that a word has been "reclaimed" if you are the one who formerly had the word used against you, but outside of that context, I still have a lot of problems with it, and bristle at the use. e.g. any guy using the word 'cunt' as a pejorative versus the way a woman uses it. and, either you're going to get what I'm saying or not, but I'm not going into it any further. I just think we ought to know better than this, given the average education level of people on here being at least highschool.

Just so you all can get the picture. All the people I phoned were busy. Therefore I didn't do anything. I wouldn't post "sad" messages unless I took every step to find something to do. It's fine when one of you whine and complain but when I do it I must depressed or god forbid lazy to do anything. Now I'm just angry. Good job you niggas.

yes, as a general rule, if you want to actually do something, you say it to the people you want to join you in it. don't post things, posting is a very transitory medium, and if you really actually want to get anywhere with what you're trying to do, then TALK to people... phone works best for such things.
i'm jealous of you all who have nothing to do. all I want is to do nothing... but I get to clean out a listserve instead. woo hoo! anyway, bask in the nothingness, and go out and do stuff instead of moping about not doing anything. whining only works if you can't do anything about your problem. just look at me.
