hey all, i'm not sure who or if anyone is interested, but i'll tell my little story anyway.

A friend of mine is moving back to B.C.. The problem is, the lease on her apartment is not up until August and she needs to find someone to take it over. Its a nice apartment, 2 bedrooms, big kitchen, big bathroom, lots and lots of storage. There's even a room that is currently being used as an office that could be a very small 3rd bedroom if someone so desired. Rent's 680/month. Its on 111th St. and Saddleback road. The apartment would be available in a week and a half (March rent is all paid), and Shriley is willing to pay April's rent if someone wants to move in. If anyone's interested, or know's anyone who's interested, let me know!

Light at the end of the tunnel. With that little timer function you showed me Ed I can actually program this evil system. Thanks once again.

I always used tic and toc to time things... but I think this will actually let you time events to happen when you want.

Thanks Ed! I basically ended up using a "tic" and "toc" function to work as a timer. This might be more accurate however.

A quick chat with wes:

[On cutting plots]: In The Royal Tenenbaums we had a whole sub-plot; there was a part that Jason Schwartzman was going to play, a kid living across the street from their house, the son of a diplomat who had escaped from a school in Switzerland and was living in an attic and had like a cable connected to their house, and they were sliding things across it - we had a whole entire story.

Wow. Get released after a month as a hostage in Iraq. Don't even make it to the checkpoint before you get shot. By Americans.

The first song on the playlist this week for CBCRadio3.com is "The Last Last One" by the Weakerthans. How fitting.

I also don't suppose you know how to make matlab take a sample every 5 or 10 seconds?
