love the william gibson/x-files association there... very entertaining
so, on another note, I don't even know how to say this, I think I turned every colour imaginable today. from the intense frustration (woo hoo, can't tell you, must remain confidential) and disgust (park planning gong show) to holy shit surprise and joy - i think....
so here's the deal: i e-mailed my prof... the same one i've been mentioning a lot lately. and basically said that though I wanted to do this, I wasn't ready. but to please keep me in mind... and also mentioned that I'd been talking with another faculty member (my future employer for May) about it. So... my prof asked my employer why it was that I wasn't ready to do this, and essentially told my employer (if i'm getting this right) that they really want me to work for them. um, holy shit. Needless to say, I think I blanched and then turned red, and probably would've squealed if I wasn't careful.
but thinking over how I reacted, there truly wasn't as much crush stuff as there was desire to work on the project. I think I know where i'm going with this now. i'll just have to get over the crush side of things and work on the rest, because the rest is truly what i'm most interested in. i mean, come on, how often do you get the opportunity of your dreams essentially handed to you because they really want you to work with them? (and they haven't seen my cv, nor transcripts, so they're going off of, um, conversations with me and whomever else they've talked to)

Oh, and Duke only has 7 posts, so he should be farther to the right.
perhaps I shouldn't have included him...

I was wondering about average post length, who's are the longest and who's are the shortest...
So I did a pseudo-statistical analysis based on everyones last 25 posts and compared the size of my scrollbar. Large scrollbar corresponds with small posts, and vice versa.
The results are - from shortest post-length to longest:
Beck, Duke, Jess, Mary, Leo, Pam, Tony, Ed, Par, Jere, Alison, Pete, Andy, Eric, Taylor
AD and Al could not be included as I couldn't isolate their last 25 posts.

Thanks Par! I think I'm getting the hang of it. I probally don't need a #include function, do I? Well back to programing.

Here you go, Al.
// two slashed for a comment
int smallarray[50]; //global variables?
// global variables are unnecessary for what you're doing, but they way you declared them is correct
int a; //must have semicolon after every line of code? yes
int main(){
} //No end statement the main pogram is denoted finished by a matching "}" for the first "{"? yes
int b; //this is now a local variable? yes
a=0; //global variable so can pass values to the outside of the curly brackets?
printf("Hello, world!
"); // because a C program isn't complete without a 'Hello, world!'
while(a=0){
...... //statements not important
} //so you end a while loop with a corresponding "}" for every "{"? end other loops the same way? yes
b=3;

So let me get this straight Par. So in C you have to have to do this:
int smallarray[50]; /global variables? "/" means a comment?
int a; /must have semicolon after every line of code?
main() /thing in bracket is the arguement needed to be inputed. If there is none then assumed global variables will be the arguemnts? Always have a "main" function even to perform a simple program?
{ int b; /this is now a local variable because it is in the "{" ? Can't pass value to the outside of the { brackets?
a=0; /global variable so can pass values to the outside of the curly brackets?
while(a=0);
{...... /statements not important
} /so you end a while loop with a corresponding "}" for every "{"? end other loops the same way?
b=3;
} /No end statement the main pogram is denoted finished by a matching "}" for the first "{"?

Some reviews:
- ... although Windows still crashes, the machine is so fast it crashes before you even boot it up. So by the time you booted, you've already crashed and rebooted and didn't know what happened.
- I recently bought two of these notebooks, one to make a backup of the internet and another to import my essense into and live in my own cyber-world (using the included mental-essense import hat, that is).

Popstrology - the idea that your fate/character is determined not by the celestial alignment under which you were born, but the pop song that was at the top of the charts on your birthday. 'If, for example, you happen to have been hatched during that brief, blissful period in October, 1976, when the airwaves were ruled by “Disco Duck,” you may have inherited from its creators, the opportunistic d.j. Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots, an ability “to parlay simple needs and even modest gifts into the precise degree of greatness to which you aspire.”'
Meh, makes about as much sense as actual astrology. Well, unless you're reading these horoscopes. Those ones are totally true.
