AL: those weapons systems look fantastic! I can't believe how fast you've improved...
ERIC: I think she meant the Alexionfire/Rise Against show... but I might be wrong.
VANESSA: If I'm wrong and you DID mean Hot Hot Heat... guess I'll see you there. I saw you in the Knowledge Common while I was working on my take-home final, but I had to finish this stupid paper. Lots of hugging between you and some girls. hahaha I'm like a stalker.
EVERYONE ELSE: I got promised a free advance copy of the new BLACKLISTED album! By envious, you bastards, you SHOULD be!!!
And, File -> Print, done!

Just some rough ideas for the next Grand Arms unit. These pictures will help visualize all the systems of this Grand Arms unit. Usually 1 picture is not good enought to get the full capability of a unit. It will be a 8-10? generation Grand Arms unit. Using advance technology and combat data from the previous Grand Arms, it was constructed to have all their strenghts and none of their weaknesses.
Just some of the weapons that it can mount. The Jagd Fixer cannon is mounted on the shoulders. The other weapons are held in its hands.
The Jagd faust is used to punch through heavy armour. It can be held in the hand and used as a push dagger. It is guided either by the pilot or the battle computer. The Jagd Fist do not use the wire for guidance. Instead the wires are a super tensile, heated, diamond reinforced razor wire. It can use the wire to entangle opponents, or cut them by making the wire get in the way. To help in creating areas of high tension, there are wire guides which float by advance anti-grav technology. They act as a anchoring point so that certain areas of the wire will be ridgid and sharp (allowing for them to cut opponents) while other areas can be loose and flexible (for entaglement of the enemies). The hands emmit beam energy either as a powerful blast, large beam saber blade, or only around the fist. The longinus missile have the range of a thor class, punch of a giga class, and are the size of micro missiles. The fasut are the size of a 2nd generation yagerfaust. The missiles and faust are mounted in a weapon pod connected to the main bosster.

Man, the Beeb has got to work on realistic headlines:
Uefa may kick Inter [Milan] out of Europe
What they mean to say is the UEFA (the governing body for football in Europe) may kick Inter Milan out of the Champions League, for an absolutely ridiculous incident the other day where fans, protesting a call, threw flares at the keeper for arch rival AC Milan. It's a bit of a stretch, though, to say that they'll kick the club out of Europe.

actually, yeah, I know what you mean, they weren't great, but I don't think they were shit either. my favourite part was the continuous string of drop passes to nobody don't they ever look? and okay, here's the best part: When you're down in the other team's end of the ice, and you're trying to score a goal, doesn't it make sense to position someone in front of the net? well... yeah, you know where this is going.
Still, I maintain that they weren't terrible, and the price was right: $16 for a hotdog and game... maybe what we need to do to get over the hockey withdrawal next year is attend Pandas and Bears games - they're super cheap, and the teams aren't too bad - plus we'd be supporting our peers. or is that going too far? ;)

see, I saw the Roadrunners last Friday, instead of going to Blue Rodeo :( , and they weren't that bad. Yes, they haven't got near the skill and finesse of the Oilers (and what does that say?), but they weren't falling over. They made a lot of 'pretty' plays that were far too cutesy and it cost them many opportunities (mostly because they didn't have all the skill necessary to back up the pretty moves), but they did win against St. John's (a tough challenge, or so I was told), and they did play a fairly decent game. not so much hitting, unfortunately. Often that's where the lower paid teams excel - fighting and checking - and these guys just didn't perform as anticipated (unilke the old Edmonton Ice, what brawlers). I dunno. It was definitely a more diverse audience, younger and poorer, and oh the screams of little girls... I really wanted to shut them up. and I'm so glad I was never like that.

Hey, Beck, I just had a thought. Do you suppose your Oilers curse (that is, that they lose when you watch) transfers over to the Roadrunners in case of a lockout?
