If you guys can't make it, that's totally okay. I only expect you to come if you want to; the same goes for all of the shows I play. But I mean, if you're gonna go to one, this is the one to be at (if you can make it). As for me passing on money to the Shark Tank... I totally appreciate your willingness to help, but $20 is a lot of money. Don't feel you need to give money just for the sake of giving. Personally, I'd say if you can't make it, don't worry too much about it. Just invest your money back into the scene by going to a show when you next get the chance. However, if you *really* want to, I'll pass on the price of admission (whatever it will be... probably no more than $10). While the gesture is awesome, you should at the same time get something out of it. So yeah, I'd suggest just save your $$$ for the next show you go to. That way the next time when you're thinking to yourself "hmm... I could go to this show, but I don't know if I should spend the money", you can feel less guilty about the decision.

But yeah, nevertheless that's totally generous of you for offering Alison.

Tay, despite my lameness (lame-ossity?), I'm totally down for that. I'll even do you a tiny favour with that message. (See 'Announcements' on the left side)

Taylor, I'm not going to be here, but I'd like to contribute. If i were to give you, uh, $20 or so, could you pass it on to the right people? I agree, all ages venues are really important both for the local music scene and for all the kids. let me know.

Hey guys, I'd appreciate it if everybody could read this:

For the LIME/dagger boys: James called me and he's putting together a Shark Tank fundraiser show for this Saturday (so that they can rent a PA for the rest of May... after which they may or may not be calling it quits). London Disturbance Force will be playing the all-ages show at the shark-tank during the day (from 1pm to 8pm) and LIME (or the band formerly known as...) will be playing the no-minors show after 8pm at the Victory Lounge. The no-minors show will be with Our Mercury, and tentatively Red-Handed (er... I think he meant Marshall Islands? Since Red Handed is no longer their name as far as I know) and Fractal Pattern. Sorry for the short notice guys, but yeah... we totally owe James and Tracy quite a bit, and they definitely need our help.

For the rest of you: James and Tracy own the Shark Tank which is the only all-ages venue in the city. They made next to no money off of it, but they did it for the kids. Last week they were broken into, everything was stolen and the place was trashed. It's not looking very likely that they'll be able to continue with this after such a devastating breach of property and respect. However, since next Saturday is my birthday, if you guys want to celebrate it, just consider coming to one (or BOTH if possible!) of the shark-tank fundraiser shows that day (like I said above; AA show with my band LDF during the day, and the no-minors show with Red Hot Daggers/LIME at night). I owe James and Tracy a lot for all the help they've given both of my bands, so please don't buy me any gifts (I didn't expect you or want you to anyway) but instead I invite you to come down to one or both of the shows. Even if you stay only 15 minutes, it's not like the money was wasted because whatever money that can be re-couped will be a huge help.

Thanks so much guys. I'll post details (when they're made available) on here in the coming week.

edit: Here's those details:

Sweet! Are you going to try and get some printed somewhere?

I love playing with illustrator, I just never had a mad logo to use as a template.

Thanks Par and Tay, I wasn't sure about either of those things. But I kinda threw some of them together quickly so that I could show off something on the net, and figured I'd fix things later.

Pete, before you print that shirt that says "my other shirt has it's collar up"... make sure you remove the apostrophe in "it's". It should be: "my other shirt has its collar up."

Just thought I should point that out.
