Par, I think I would be down for Star Wars, I'd like to see it sometime this weekend at least.
As for Linear Algebra, I passed Math 325 - Linear Algebra III, so I might be able to take a stab at it, unless there's someone who has actually done Skyline Matrices or LU Decompostion, maybe we can talk math at starwars.
Remember, you can't spell Algebra without a Bra.

Jess, I'm pretty much free next week, in the evenings, anyway. I still have to pick up the hostel membership, though. I guess it's my turn to host, too, huh?
I'm afraid I don't get the Dinner With Andre joke. Movie? But "Seacrest... out!" Now there's an American Idol joke for the masses!
Questions:
* Does someone versed in linear algebra want to explain either Skyline Matrices or LU Decomposition to me? (Probably not on the message board, though.)
* Has anyone had experience in building webpages using CSS for layout (as opposed to the tabled nightmare I've built here)?
* Is anyone who is not going camping interested in some Star Wars Sunday?
* What exactly is newsworthy about Saddam's underwear? More importantly, what is front-page-newsworthy about them?
* How do I pick up and carry my computer?

Hey Andy, do you still have the script you made for that Captain Planet Comic? All this talk about making comics reminded me of that. Now that I'm slowly becoming more and more savy with Illustrator and Photoshop, who knows what could happen.
Anway, it was fucking hilarious, and should continue to be shared with the world.

Thanks a bunch Tay. I'll tough it all out then.
Eric: Ha ha ha -- yeah man, I saw that one. In fact, I've been trying to use that Dinner with Andre joke like it was going out of style. Unfortunately nobody has had a clue about what the fuck I'm talking about. Ha ha! -- It's not so funny when you have to explain it...

oh yeah, as for Dune: the first few are checkmate, and then it gets really hurting in the middle but then the last book is fucking awesome, although you have to read the lame shit to get there. Duncan Idaho is cool in the last book.
Some parts aren't super great, but if you've read more than the first book, I'd suggest going all out and reading them all. I think that should be the new rule for Dune: if you're not gonna read them all just read the first book.

hellyea, cinematography totally applies to comics. Thanks for letting me know about that. I should definitely learn something about directing; not kuz I wanna make films but for comics. Damn man, thanks for that... I totally never even thought about that. Shit... you have no idea how much you just helped me!

Duck TaleZ 3 - a funny flash parody of Duck Tales, Dragon Ball Z, and some other pop-cult geek junk. [EDIT: Watch out! It's 18 minutes long!]
Tay: That comic is fucking rad. I think you doing a comic blog is a perfect idea; I think you doing any blog -- especially in conjunction with Captain Ngs -- would be sweet. Do it. Now. (Motherfucker.)
About the actual comic: I don't know if it matters to you -- or if it's intentional or whatever -- but it might be worthwhile to flip/mirror the final frame. That would maintain the 180 degree rule of film, which I think is still pretty applicable to comics. The 180 rule helps minimize alienation -- by giving the viewer a more fixed/static P.O.V. -- and therefore helps with the flow. So, uh, just a very minor thing that I noticed; a simple suggestion from one pal to another.
And one final thing: I started reading the Dune series (I'm about half-way through Messiah) and I was wondering how deep into the series I should go. I mean, like, how worthwhile are the later books? I enjoyed Dune, but I didn't love it. I am, however, really liking Messiah thus far -- I think I enjoy the political intrigue most. And, yeah, I figure I can probably skip Herbert's son's stuff, by the sounds of it. But otherwise ... what do you figure?
Jackson moos on cue.
