Hey, Firefox totally stops resizing at 800 pixels on my Mac. I'm using Firefox 1.04 for Mac OSX.
But Par, you should re-design your website to be more wholsome and christian. I think there is entirely too many demons and violence on this website. parhaps more <jesus> and less <div>

what? yeah it does. It totally shrinks to whatever size I want to resize my window to.

Hey, why are you switching from tables to divs anyway? It's not like you're layering or adding dynamic content or anything... so what's up?

Dammit Par stop pandering to those IE users... it's not your fault if their browser doesn't conform to your page. Or they have their resolution set low for some ungodly reason.

Does IE not respect my 'min-width' property? Because the way I have it set up on the new layout, that shouldn't be a problem; the page should never shrink below a width of 800 pixels.

oh, I see what you mean. Also, I'm almost finished making a relatively-placed message-header. This way it doesn't get all jumbled up when the window is too small.

Maybe it's just in Firefox that the div doesn't expand.
Also, I wasn't talking about the banner image, but that whole blue part. It doesn't go all the way across the page when the message part of the page is wider than the window (take a look at that page at 1024x768 or 800x600 and you'll see what I mean.)
Ideally, I'd like the page to be able to expand when necessary, display cleanly in 800x600 and above, and display reasonably well in both IE and Firefox (and Safari if possible, but one thing at a time.)
I'll keep toying with it this week to see if I can get it to go.

On further inspection of the code Paras, I think you're missing an "end-div" tag... but let me fool around with it for a sec and see if that fixes it.
edit: nope, wait... that's not it.

I hate finding jap mecha sites. Those guys have too much talent for the average mecha designer to match up to.

Click on a thumb nail to see what I mean. I won't stop making Grand Arms it is just that there are people out there with too much talent.

hmm, paras: it looks to me like the div tags are expanding to large images just fine...?
Also, I'm not sure what you mean about the banner at the top, but if you add a width attribute of the img with src banner1.png to width=54%, it ends up being as close to proportional as it can get.
I'm not sure what else you're looking for... I don't think I understand you clearly, actually.
Also: is the difference between the top and bottom message just that the oversized image is resized? If so, it looks like it's working fine to me.
