Raster is better, vector only works if you design with nurbs all day and can think of set of points as some weird formula. Or you fool with vectors long enough.

So illustrator basically breaks down each line in to vectors or some sort of parametric shape. You can then manipulate said shape or vector to your liking without affecting the "pixels" as would be the case in photoshop. So it is basically effective at making repeat icon but wouldn't be the choice if you were making some composition or picture. So basically no use to me as of yet, maybe later when I figure something out.

"Guerrilla Marketing" makes me sad. But I'm not about to make your life more difficult (or inconvenient at the very least) by requesting you remove such posts.
If it becomes a regular occurrance we may have to go to a registered-participants-posting-only style of board, but for now let's see how it goes...

I had a feeling this was coming. Not a lot of strangers registering at this site, particularly strangers from "a Guerrilla Marketing Agency."
I suppose I should be heartened that they're honest enough to use the email address attached to their company. I'll be frank, though: I don't like it.
I won't unilaterally decide to remove bullshit like this from the board. If you guys complain, though, I'll be more than happy to do so.

Hey, any design help is good design help, as far as I'm concerned. In the realm of design, I've got almost no talent at all. (This page is the most I've ever done...)

To be brutally honest, traditional design is not my forté. However, I can put together whatever graphics you want, and I'll attempt to be of help design-wise if you should so require it... but like I said; no guarantees on that front.
With that being said however, I think I've got an edge when it comes to non-traditional design solutions. Problem is, without a portfolio explaining what I mean, telling an employer that you're a non-traditional designer isn't exactly a marketable asset. On the other hand, should the portfolio I'm working on (version 3 as of now) turn out the way I imagine it to be, then I think it'll be checkmate as fuck.
But we'll see...
On the down-side, illustrator is kicking my ass right now.

That's pretty awesome, tay, even if you're not gonna use it.
Any chance I could commission you for some graphics/design advice for this site? (I use 'commission' loosely. I would, of course, be paying you absolutely nothing.)
