Tay try macromedia free hand. Kind of like illustrator but easier. You might like free hand more then illustrator.

Mmmm..... I like water..... especially concentrated water, makes diffusion go faster!
Thinking of going paintballing to the same place as before on the 12th, or maybe the 19 if that doesn't work out. Who's interested?
And this time, no playing with the crazy guys who play at least 3 times a week...

-Ed: Congrtulation on the test. Hopefully this means a job, which means money, which leads to other things.
-Tay: Well can't help you out much with the illustrator thing. I guess just simplify your design down when using illustrator. It wasn't really meant for crazy line art like which you or me would normally do. I won't even try to vectorize or raster any grand arms line art, it takes too damn long. Like I said though you'll probally find it really useful for when you really start cranking out designs. Just keep on practising you'll get it.

You remember that joke, that everyone tells, about selling empty bottles as "instant water"? You know: "just add water, and you've got water! hahahahahahaha", etc.
Well, we're almost there. Now you can buy concentrated water. Specifically, H2X™ SCALAR WAVE ACTIVATED WATER CONCENTRATE. Just pay $29.95US (plus $5 shipping and handling), and receive your very own "30ml tamper-proof dropper bottle and is prepared freshly at our laboratory utilising proprietary Neo-Homeopathic methods." This 30mL bottle "treats 30 litres of tap or spring water!"
That's right, they are charging close to $1000 per litre for water.
But, it's not ordinary water. Of course not. "Remember we do not add anything material of any sort to H2X™ Scalar Wave Activated Water. Everything is accomplished through the imprinting of energy frequencies using our proprietary structuring process. We use our Scalar Wave Technology to deliver various proprietary frequencies during the imprinting process. H2X™ Scalar Wave Activated Water targets the energy systems responsible for maintaining harmony and balance within the body." (I'd better not catch you using any of their proprietary frequencies... I understand they've patented middle-C.)
I hate these fucking people so much I can't stand it.

Adobe Streamline is obsolete as of the current version of illustrator. They basically put a version of streamline in the actual illustrator program in CS2. But still, it sucks. Everything looked better if I traced it with the pen tool in illustrator... and that takes way too long setting up the splines and shit.
Also, you took an oracle test? Holy shit. So did you like, have to predict the future or something?

New The Week in Pictures is out. The one with the Korean riot police is funny. I think bbc and cbc do week-in-pictures kinda things, but this one is definately the best.

You kids who have been trying out Illustrator and were unhappy with the results might be interested in a program called Adobe Streamline. Streamline converts raster images to vector images. It doesnt do a perfect job, and personally I think its best for simpler images, outlines or silhouettes. I think there is also a 3rd party plug-in that can be downloaded off the net called SilhouettePlugIn. Like Al was saying, Illustator is cool for logo's or icons but not exactly a program for sketching or drawing things. Although you gotta wonder how they use it to do exactly that... perhaps there is some demo or tutorial out there.
