Ok everyone, you know the drill. I post a message saying we're heading out to Twin Lakes. The usual plan. You all ignore it.

I heard about this on the radio. I'm not certain why this would be problem if she already has a duel citizenship with Haiti already.

Does it matter that the new Governor General is a dual citizen of France and Canada?

Some people seem to think it's grounds to revoke her appointment.

I don't know. I mean, it's entertaining (for me, anyway) to read new and current pieces from Rick Mercer, discussing issues that would make it into his infamous dock rants if he were on TV right now (on a side note, I guess his show is coming back this fall, but for me it falls short of his best stuff). On the other hand, the thought of him hunched over a keyboard typing stories about hanging out with Steven Fletcher (the quadriplegic Tory MP that pulled Rick Mercer through Parliament buildings on a scooter behind his wheelchair) into the Blogger post form kind of takes the magic out of the whole thing.
