so, can anyone tell me what´s going on with avian flu? the tv here is all in spanish, and keeps showing pictures of Belgium and Bulgaria... am I at risk?? If you can, let me know. I´ll try not to bring an epidemic home with me!

hi by the way, hope things are going well. YOu all seem pretty happy and normal on here though.

Best of luck, Albert, on your job interview, I hop you get it!

Take care, I´m off to Italy in a day or two, I´ll try and say hi again soon. (but if not, check me out at www.ballofdirt.com) take care!

-Dress nice... but not too nice
-Be memorable... But not too memorable
-Smile a lot... but not too much
if you think it's going bad, wet yourself... but not to much, then they can smell the fear
-Have some breakfast, maybe some Special K, but don't make it too special

good luck,

Eric, yeah that is the DFA album I was waiting for, plus I also heard there is another one commming out next tuesday, I'm not sure which one that is though. Have you had a chance to listen to "dead womb" from the orange album? It's pretty good!

So, The Smoking Gun has copies of a bunch of correspondence between George W. Bush (at various stages of his public office life) and Harriet Miers (who is, of course, his nominee to the Supreme Court). Getting beyond the bizarrely ginormous loops in Harriet Miers' handwriting, one of the letters from Bush had a most interesting postscript. It sounds silly but maybe rehearsal will help? It's utterly embarassing but after a couple of runs it doesn't seem so bad, try and force your parents into listening or roleplaying. That way, when you're upon the moment, last night's embarassing ordeal will make the interview seem like a walk in the park.
