It's Del-boy! (Get it? He's got "Del" in his name and he looks like the lead character from Only Fools and Horses. It's clever, damnit!)

Access code to betting system

Reply to: anon-102883924@craigslist.org

This is a code to access a betting strategy called the Progressive Don't. It was included as a link in a seminar on Casino gaming. I posted this code several weeks ago asking that anyone who wins money playing it donate $20.00 to the Red Cross. I got 4 e-mails all from Craigs List people telling me they did ...so it can't be all wrong. I'm posting it again hoping to do the same. There's no spam, or ads or anything like that. You don't have to register for nothing. It's information only. You just need the code. 214711 to see it. As of today the code was active and valid beyond that I can't guarantee you anything but it did put $ 82.00 in my pocket in about 15 minutes. It's free. If you win.... drop a 20 on the Red Cross. If you have AOL you will probably find that it will not read java which is how the code is written. You are welcome to e-mail me for a bypass of the code if you like.

Check it out here. You need a code 214711 to get it.

I need someone to provide me with two 6-hour VHS tapes or DVDs of CJAL TV in Edmonton. You need to record it off cable TV. Basically you will just need to set your recorder and let it go. You will need to provide blank DVDs or VHS tapes but will be reimbursed.
I will pay US$45.00 per recorded tape including tape/dvd reimbursement. Total payment for the project will be US$90.00. I will provide packing and shipping materials and prepaid labels. You will need to provide me with a simple invoice with the tapes. Upon receipt of the tapes a business check will be sent to you.
Please contact me with any questions.

oh shit. i just came to a realization. i'd thought i'd "discovered" the Editors last night, namely with this one track "Munich" - but in reality, i've heard this shit before - over the summer in Calgary, at an Old Navy no less. fuck. does this song get radio play or something? i honestly NEVER ever listen to radio so i really don't know. plus, why was it playing at Old Navy?

I wanted to see if there were anymore pictures of that electrochromatic paper stuff so I went to the company's website that is researching it (Siemens). Didn't really see anything on the paper, but I did see that Edmonton is buying a whole bunch of 'LRV's from them:

speaking of music music music music music music music music music music music music
holy shit there's a lot of great bands coming up right now, basically re-writing the Joy Division catalogue, which is sorta what Interpol had already done like 5 years ago. but fuck, what a bunch of solid tunes!! canons yo, you can't front.

peep: the Editors "the Back Room", and i think i may have previously mentioned both Modernage "Receiver ep", Cut City "Self-titled"

on the fun shit tip: ninja high school is pretty much undeniable. that riddiculous scream in "Shake It Off" is straight up obscene. i can't wait to drop this shit when Twister goes bonkers

song of the day:

artist: J+J+J
song: good times
album: They Hump While We Go Nuts
website: http://www.jplusjplusj.com/
Comments:
The album is brand fuckin new, and it's the best spazztic electropop I've heard in a LONG time... even if some of the songs are in Polish! This duo gives Pilot Scott Tracy a run for their money.
Side Note: I knew a polish girl once; she was fuckin cute. She cut my hair once. She did a good job. She also explained to me the joys of salvia. God bless polish girls.

runner up:

artist: Picastro
song: The Sea Will Kill You
album: Red Your Blues
website(s):

  • http://www.picastro.net/blog/
  • http://www.newmusiccanada.ca/genres/artist.cfm?Band_Id=14362
    Comments:
    Picastro is fronted by a genetically deaf woman from deaf parents. Her first language is ASL (how the hell does she sing???). If ISIS is the most melancholic, brooding plodding metal, then Picastro is the ISIS of indie rock. Picastro also counts as the Canadiana-de-la-choix-de-la-jour (does that mean the Canadiana-of-choice-of-the-day??? I hope so.), hailing from Toronto, Ontario.

    Special Interest Group (of the day):

    artist: Ringworm
    album: Justice Replaced By Revenge
    website(s):
  • http://www.ringworm13.com/
  • http://www.purevolume.com/ringworm/
    Comments: The latest album drops today! This is purely fuckin awesome metal. Watch for November tour dates with Converge.

    fact of the day:
    according to Jesse Li, his mysterious girlfriend's name is Anita Poon. I'm not shitting you. He swears on it. If that fucker ain't lying, he found a lifer.
