"I AM: THINGS OVERHEARD IN NEW YORK"

Thug kid: When are you having that damn baby?
Preggers: I was due last week and I want a C-section but the doctor said we shouldn't do it yet.
Thug kid: I'ma call that doctor tomorrow and tell him to take that nigga out.

Re: The SCIENCE shop
Pay I think starts at about $7, but could probably be flexible. mall hours are from 10-9 during the week, 930-6 on sat and 11-5 on sun. though they will be getting longer for the christmas season come december. Any time within those hours would be appreciated I think. they can work around your schedule

Because I did such a poor job of describing STV to Paras and Percy last night... here is a (fun!) animation:

BC STV

That's the method they were trying to get going in BC, although if they were to use a system with one MLA/MP per riding, it would be more similar to the method the SU uses. Although if you read a bit about it, it does confuse a person more than our existing system... so like you were saying Paras, that's probably why the voters didn't put it in.

It's not getting much play here, but for the curious, here's a look at the current Paris suburb riots, courtesy Wikipedia.

If anyone is looking for work, even for a little while. I know that we need people desperatly at the Science shop. If you can deal with selling anithing from a 25 cent mini dice to a $500 telescope with anything in between. It is not too much work, but you will be busy. So, if anyone has any free time and wants to make some christmas money. Any time you can work would work, but we really need people during the day. If anyone is interested, post here, or call me, or stop by the science shop and say you are a friend of mine. thats about all you need to do if you want the job. ciao
