Hey Eric, I just convinced a couple of my friends from work to come out with me to Twister tonight. I'll also bring you a copy of Transformers for all your Robot Rock needs.

I can't stay too late 'cause I have an asignment I have to do, but I'll be there to enjoy a few rounds of twister.

yo guys, who says you can't do both Trivia and Twister?

and yeah, Taylor's right except that it's been All of Us have been bustin' ass to get this thing started. it's benn time and money yo - i know i've put up over $300 on my own and there's been a couple weeks (like this past one) where i almost sunk. but i'm not gonna throw a guilt trip on you guys- this is my idea and i was happy to invest myself into it, but seriously, it would mean VERY MUCH to me if you guys made an honest effort to swing by and check it out cause i think you'd actually have a ton of fun.

Alright, I figure we should dedicate this weeks trivia effort to leo since he's leaving soon.
So tuesday around 9ish @ the druid TRIVIA!!!!!!! I will be showing up late because of a triple dose of Clive that day, so I'm just saying 9 because I think that's when trivia starts.

Then on thursday, the druid's having a cheap night so I figure we could gather there too since we haven't given andy his proper birthday yet. So maybe around 8-8:30ish (or when people can come) @ the druid... CHEAP FOOOD!!!! oh yes and um, ANDY's BIRTHDAY TOO!!

That is all

Hey, Andy, to follow up on a story you might recall, Michael "What's a troglodyte" Scanlon will plead guilty to "one count of conspiracy to bribe government officials and defraud Indian tribes." In exchange for a deal, he'll testify against Jack "We need to get some $ from those monkeys" Abramoff.

Space Cadets:

Channel 4 is attempting to make TV history in December by visiting the final frontier – blasting a lucky team of starry-eyed applicants into space.

The hand-picked group will undergo intensive training in Russia before being flown 100 kilometres up into Near Space. Here, they will spend up to five days orbiting the Earth, conducting experiments and quite literally watching the world go by... or will they?
Via Boing Boing:
Issues that will be explained to them include the fact they will not be weightless in near space and that, like Sir Richard Branson's space-tourist shuttles, their craft will take off horizontally rather than vertically.

Door thwarts quick exit for Bush:

President George W Bush tried to make a quick exit from a news conference in Beijing on Sunday - only to find himself thwarted by locked doors.

The president strode away from reporters looking annoyed after one said he appeared "off his game".
