well, Jesse, if only there weren't about 12 other things going on Saturday (day and eve)... I would love to join your revelry, but I just plain can't. So, perhaps I'll aid in your getting sloshed some other time. Have a blast, though.

It looks like saturday I will be going slacklining in the afternoon, probably at the leg(doesn't look quite right... maybe the arm? or I suppose legislature would also work) grounds or maybe emily murphy, and then heading out from there for either supper or straight to the black dog. It seems to be the bar that has been chosen for saturdays festivities. silly little box, always telling me what to do!!! anyways, if you want to do any of what has been mentioned come on out, or if you just want to see me ripped out of my skull, as I've been told that is what is going to happen, than also come out. 218-5373 to reach me.

Not looking good in "Working Al" world right now. One of our senior geers just resigned and is working for our competition. Don't know what this means... Probally they now have to use threats of physical violence to try and keep us here.

We signed Tjarnqvist, a d-man, not the top two guy we need but it's a start. Also, Conklin is gone, he signed with Columbus.

They probably saw Pisani get a sweet contract and said wtf.
I wouldn't worry about the Oilers, things should be nice an' entertaining next year.
the new #44 - good and bad

from what I understand, it just means they're going to try and get a better value for their play... they have until the beginning of august to work things out with Lowe and if that doesn't happen, they then go to arbitration. (sort-of a fair value for players of their skill level across the league). If arbitration doesn't work, they become free agents... or something like that. I don't know if it's good or bad, but it usually leads to only one year contracts, and we need to sign those guys for more than a single year.

It may then interest you to know that Horcoff, Stoll, and Hemsky have all filed for arbitration. Does this bode well for us?
