I think part 2 is really good. Better than the first part. I like the exchange between Captain Planet and Wheeler... especially how Wheeler has kind of 'sold out' and gone all corporate (what with the pie charts and everything). That's good stuff man! My only crit would be of that first scene with Ma-Ti... the scene is good, but it's not clear what's going on. Like, is he some sort of mob boss now? Or is he just a horny fat dude with a heart ring? It's confusing what his role is. And where are they exactly? In that shanty in the jungle? Why are they there... and then how does he all of a sudden get into the city marketplace? That's my only crit. Hopefully it's of some help. But other than that, this is fuckin brilliant work man! Can't wait for the third installment... you got me on the edge of my seat! ;P

Raffi is the best makeout music. I like to play it in my van when I'm picking up girlfriends at the playground. It puts them at ease.

the Banana Phone song is the coolest thing ever!
I didn't think Raffi was still singing for kids...
I should pull out my old record

there were beans, beans, wearing their blue jeans
in the store, in the store
there were beans, beans, wearing their blue jeans
    in the corner grocery store

My eyes are dim, I cannot see
I have not brought my specks with me
I have not brought my specks with me!

    I loved Raffi growing up.

for the first time, I could actually watch the videos you post. Yay functioning computer!

As for the Monsanto information, that is incredibly good news (I just tried to spell "news" "noose" whoops), I just hope that they smarten up about the whole Percy Schmeizer issue. he stole nothing, their pollen drifted into his field and he lost his organic certification as a result. It's in the supreme court, we'd better all hope he wins or the future of farming in Canada is doomed.

hmm... toxic trees eh? Did you know they also leach tannins and formaldehyde into the water? Really, that's just what they do, and have always done. The only reason ozone from trees (and turpenes etc) are bad is because humans have pushed them to the edge and they've had to react. So... if we could control the amounts of ozone we put into the atmosphere, the little added push every once in a while by the trees wouldn't be so bad. And... the biggest point: if we could stop increasing global climate change, there would be even fewer problems. huzzah.

    well, happy tuesday everybody!
