- I had a crush on Alison in high school.
I couldn't stop starting at her chest... especially in the meeting, ohhh, every time she looked away I ended up staring at her chest. If only she stayed in my office just a little while longer...
How embarrased are you alison?

- Actually, Eric was correcting:
"again sex (or the primal act of sex) is thematic to most of these words - the component that most mundane words symbolize."to
"again sex (or the primal act of sex) is thematic to most of these words - the component that most mundane words do not symbolize."
And where have I heard "kokajumi" from?
Ed's Back (You gotta hand it to the NDP. They may not have a chance in hell of forming government, but they come up with some pretty interesting campaign stuff... remember "Raj Against the Machine"?)

- ok, so i've been catching up on the message board because i have a lot of time to waste this morning, and i know that this is something that is fairly old, by message board terms, but it touched on my particular area of geekiness, and i feel compelled to comment...
Eric cited the following: "mundane words DO NOT symbolize"
I'm sorry, eric, they do. All words symbolize ideas; all words are semiotic representations of concepts that are arbitrarily assinged to said symbol, at one point or another in history. This is why there exists such a thing as the connotation - as the meaning behind the representation changes, the old meaning of a symbol is not entirely erased and gets carried along with the new meaning. Words have baggage, just like people. Every word, no matter how innocuous, is a symbol, and thus symbolizes, no matter how mundane it may seem.
Sorry everyone, just had to get that out of my system before i exploded...

- Bah! Albert kann eine automatische Translation machen, aber er kennt die Sprache nicht. Wenn er Italienisch gelernt würde, dann wird seine Arbeit herrlich. Jetzt ist seine italienische Translation nur ein Kunstgriff.

Oh yeah... remember Tay - crazy will beat big every time. Doesn't matter if he's bigger than you as long as you are crazier.

- Tay,
Don't worry about it. Stick w/ the girl. If he has a problem with it and wants to make it a big deal kick the shit out of him. Simple.

- I'm getting worse instead of better, dammit. It's now 5:30AM and my neighbour left to go to work. I'm now about to go to sleep, only to have to wake in 4 hours to go to work. The sun is up and birds are chirping outside my window. This is painful.
If this isn't evidence of my own masochism, I don't know what is.
