All I have to say from reading old posts is holy shit. Tension levels are a wee bit high. On to the fun stuff. Pam, I would love to play soccer and hangout with you guys at 4p.m. on Saturday as I have not seen much of you in the last year. Gaut, I'm down for riding as allways and we need to establish a riding club for the summer. Anywho everyone should come on saturday as it will be fun. AND LIGHTEN UP!!!!!!!!

You mean the thing turning the light on in the backyard? Didn't bother finding out. Did put my pants back on though. (joke)

Thanks Beck, that makes me feel a little better. I'll just keep an eye on her over the next few days I guess.

Hey Jess, the dog will be fine, the biggest danger is that chicken bones splinter easily and can cut up/get lodged in the throat. If she's alive and well now then that obviously didn't happen. I'm pretty sure they can be digested.

Tired of reading textbooks? Try William Gibson's Neuromancer. You know that term cyberspace that you always use? Yeah, Mr. Gibson came up with that one. He uses it in Neuromancer, but the term first appeared in his book Burning Chrome which was originally published by the science-fiction magazine, Omni (a division of Penthouse, believe it or not!), in 1982. Damn straight- the word cyberspace is about as old as you are.
Other things that come from science-fiction:
the term "Robot": from the book R.U.R. by Karel Capek (the RUR stands for Rossum's Universal Robots)
the idea of a "waterbed": from Robert Heinlein's Stranger In a Strange Land
the everyday phrase "Haul Jet": from George Lucas' Star Wars
And there's MORE too! But I really oughta get back to that paper.

Personally I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and recognize that we're all busy and stressed and just try to tolerate each other's idiosyncrities, interests, obsessions, and freakouts. I mean, isn't that what friends are for? To tolerate you? Or we could settle things in naked mudwrestling bouts. Of course then we'd have people picking fights just to get nekkid.
So I left a couple pieces of KFC on my kitchen table to which my dumbass dog helped herself. I know you're not supposed to feed dogs chicken because they can choke on the bones, but if she's already eaten the chicken (including the bones) do you think she'll be okay? She's sleeping right now. Can dogs digest chicken bones?

Paras, that's because it IS a hoax... I think you knew that, but I'm not entirely sure. However, Brittney DID cover Buddy Rich's classic song "The Beat Goes On". It's a brilliantly composed piece, but everyone seems to love fucking it up for some reason. Sonny and Cher fucked up the whole song LONG before Brittney was even a glint in her father's eye.
And AL, I think you got that STAR WARS quote wrong. It goes like this:

"Fear leads to anger... anger leads to stress... stress leads to doobies... and doobies lead to twinkies."
Just thought I'd help you out there. heh heh
