Well, you don't want a cat to see you with your pants off.

If you REALLY want to make a difference in a little animals life then go to Save Toby to save a little bunny. Some sicko will kill the cute toby unless he gets $50,000! On a lighter note he does have some excellent bunny recipes that you could try out.

All I have to say from reading old posts is holy shit. Tension levels are a wee bit high. On to the fun stuff. Pam, I would love to play soccer and hangout with you guys at 4p.m. on Saturday as I have not seen much of you in the last year. Gaut, I'm down for riding as allways and we need to establish a riding club for the summer. Anywho everyone should come on saturday as it will be fun. AND LIGHTEN UP!!!!!!!!

Thanks Beck, that makes me feel a little better. I'll just keep an eye on her over the next few days I guess.

Hey Jess, the dog will be fine, the biggest danger is that chicken bones splinter easily and can cut up/get lodged in the throat. If she's alive and well now then that obviously didn't happen. I'm pretty sure they can be digested.

Tired of reading textbooks? Try William Gibson's Neuromancer. You know that term cyberspace that you always use? Yeah, Mr. Gibson came up with that one. He uses it in Neuromancer, but the term first appeared in his book Burning Chrome which was originally published by the science-fiction magazine, Omni (a division of Penthouse, believe it or not!), in 1982. Damn straight- the word cyberspace is about as old as you are.

Other things that come from science-fiction:

the term "Robot": from the book R.U.R. by Karel Capek (the RUR stands for Rossum's Universal Robots)
the idea of a "waterbed": from Robert Heinlein's Stranger In a Strange Land
the everyday phrase "Haul Jet": from George Lucas' Star Wars

And there's MORE too! But I really oughta get back to that paper.
