And apparently the short answer to my question (and I really should have been expecting this) is "No, but". I think in the long view, this whole affair (depending on the outcome of any investigation) will just jade people towards politics even more. The damage to politicians as a group is far worse than any damage to Indians as a community, and it's politicians that will have to work harder to gain our trust back. (Assuming, of course, anyone in the general public cares anymore.)

This is the first glance concern concerning ethnicity, the validity of which, in combination with the first lesson, is questioned by Par.Percy, I'm not sure what you think I was questioning. To be clear, I was asking whether it is possible to damage the image of your community through the questionable actions taken by Grewal and Dosanjh, particularly when attention is not being drawn to your ethnicity in this case (apart from, as I said, the translation of the tapes from Punjabi). I don't think it's relevant what I am to learn from this (I don't think I need to learn anything from this that I don't already know), nor do I think that was the nature of the concern my Dad had.

Oh and if you were wondering my favourite anime guns are Joshua and Jackal. These guns are carried by Alucard off the anime Hellsing. They are both modified Cassull 454s. More powerful then a Magnum 44 (Dirty Harry gun) these guns could probally dislocate your shoulder if not fired properly. In the anime they spit out exploding silver bullets! Well enough about guns sorry to start the day on a weird note.

Japanese otakus take everything a little far. Can't remeber the link but the site also had other guns anime guns as well. I'll post up some pics of the guns. By far the Gungrave gun is probally one of the coolest. I think this gun collecting thing is a big thing in asia. Even though the guns aren't real (the gungrave gun was actually shooting out plastic tipped bullets, known as air soft guns, or something like that.) collecting them is seen as a hobby. Well here are the rest of them.
Scary enough as it is, this gun can actually mount a working scope and laser sight!
In the anime this gun is suppose to be non lethal (it shoots out tranqulizer darts, and other non lethal projectiles) in reality this gun can probally be converted to fire real bullets.
