Being sick sucks. But at least now I have my computer with me and can spam the message board! Yay!
Also, this weekend, I was as close to a grizzly bear as I ever want to be in my entire life (unless of course, there are bars between us). The rest of hiking trip was wonderful - it was so lovely there. When I feel well enough to go get my camera (yes, I know it's just downstairs) I will post some images. Or try to. Whatever. Wish I hadn't left the camera in the tent when the bear was around, but seeing as he was sniffing my tent, I wasn't too inclined to go get it.
So, is Mac Tavish obligated to trade Pronger? Though I suppose a player being forced to play in in a city he doesn't want to be in probably won't play so hot.

-Write our own book! Maybe then we can all quit our day jobs. But not our night jobs, because those are the fun ones.
-Wish my work computer had a sound card, can't listen to that band NADJA right now.

For the last month or two I've fallen in love with a doom/drone metal band that I only recently discovered. I consider them equals and in some respects more refined than bands like Sunn and Mare... which is saying a lot because I fuckin' love those bands. It took me a while to find them on the internet though, because I was spelling their name wrong. Who exactly am I talking about?
NADJA
(Notice, it's spelt with a j and not an i. dammit.)
Check out the track breakpoint.
A 2-piece hailing from montreal, they distinguish themselves from other drone/doom acts by their use of lulling ambient soundscapes. It's just totally fucking optimistic and beautiful but in the most slow and dark way possible. I love it.

Yeah for bowling! As long as the place isn't too seedy... actually I take that back, the seediness just adds to the whole bowling experiance.
